Elba I. Adams, 65, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away Friday, September 19th. She was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on May 22nd, 1960. Elba Adams graduated from Hoboken High School and received her degree in Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
She married Thomas L. Adams on July 8th 1994.
Although Elba Adams was employed as a Department of Defense engineer with the United States Army, her most cherished role in life was that of a devoted wife and mother. A woman of deep faith, she faithfully attended her local church and found joy in reading scripture and sharing her love of baking with family and friends.
Elba is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Lee Adams, Jr.; her children, Ashley and spouse Justen, Joseph, Thomas, and Gabriel; daughter-in-law, Kimberly; and her grandchildren, Carter, Kai, Kaylee, Tommy, June, Gage, Bailey, and Samuel. She is also survived by her father, Angel; her sister, Mildred and spouse Andrew; her brother, Bachito and spouse Debbie; and her sister-in-law, Elda, wife of her late brother, Angel.
She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A visitation for Elba will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A burial will occur Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 FL-72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
