Faust Canino, Jr., 94, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Asbury Park, NJ died April 26, 2012.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota with a prayer service at 7:00pm.
Funeral Mass will be held 9:30am, Tuesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Sarasota with interment following at Sarasota Memorial Park with military honors.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Rose Marie (nee Esposito); a son, Anthony of Beechwood, NJ; three daughters, Irene Harty of Maple Valley, WA, Rita Napolitano of Bricktown, NJ and Theresa Wright of Belmar, NJ; seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Faust was a WWII Navy veteran serving aboard the USS West Point. He played Saxophone in the Navy band,.
He and Rose Marie were founding members at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Sarasota.
