Frances Marie Callis-Williams, 86, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida. “Fran” was born May 4, 1939, in North Tonawanda, NY. In 1956, Fran relocated to the Venice/Sarasota area where she married the late Glenn Callis (1936-2021) and raised their three children. Fran worked for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department from March 1998 until she retired in November 2018. She is survived by her daughter Candace M. Ierulli, her son Christopher M. Callis and son Corteney M. Callis (Tiffanie); grandchildren Ashley Ierulli, Brandon Callis, Ava Callis, Connor Callis and Emma Callis; great grandchild Amanda Sullivan; along with her brother James (Ruthie) Cudzilo, and sister-in-law Wanda Cudzilo. Fran is preceded in death by her father Joseph Cudzilo, mother Judith Rogowski, brother Joe Cudzilo, brother John Cudzilo, and her late husband Thomas Williams.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday April 24, 2026, at 9:30am at Incarnation Catholic Church 2901 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34239. A Graveside Service for Frances will be held at 2:30pm later that day at Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241 where she will be laid to rest.
