Survived by wife of 51 years, Sharon Maynard Stone; sons, Haskel Paul Stone III and Matthew David Stone; daughter, Dorlinda Lee Stone Carlson; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Paul moved to Florida from Newark, Ohio 14 years ago and was a Deacon of First Baptist Church in Newark, Ohio, a Consulting Rosarian; 33rd degree Mason with York and Scottish Rites; Colonel for the U.S. Army Reserves with Distinguished Flying Cross, 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Bronze Medal for Heroism, Army Air Medal and a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church of Lakewood Ranch. Paul was a devoted husband and beloved father.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm Sun. Oct. 26, 2014 with Funeral service 11:00 A.M. on Mon. Oct. 27, 2014, all at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home located at 170 Honore Ave. Sarasota, FL 34232.
