Ione was known for her beautiful quilting and Swedish weaving. She loved to square dance, a good game of shuffleboard and she enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Ione was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fowler, and grandson, Stephen Fowler.
She is survived by her children, Rex Fowler (Debbie), Randall Fowler (Connie), Rosella Fowler (David) and Richard Fowler (Karen);
grandchildren, Tim (Gina), Eric (Lisa), Jason (Kim), Kassie (Kevin), Kevin, Brandon (Ann Marie), Brittany and Benjamin; and several dear great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, with service starting at 11:00 am and a luncheon to follow at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL
