Jaime Hernandez Martinez

1939-2019 Jaime may have passed but we will keep him alive in our hearts and memories forever. Jaime was born in Torreon, Coahuila Mexico and traveled all over but ended up here in Sarasota where he has called his home for over 25 years. Jaime was a man of many talents and to know him was to love him. He would help anyone he knew. There wasn’t a favor you couldn’t ask of him and he always did it with a smile. To look at him you would think he was a man that lived a simple life but he definitely did not he was just a man that did not care about materialistic things. His passion was his family, all he cared about was their happiness. If you ask him what his greatest achievement in life was he would probably say his daughter Esperanza. He definitely didn’t stop until he had her she has 7 big brothers that look at her with the same pride as their Father did. He raised 7 great sons and Esperanza with his beloved wife Velia by his side. I know his children all have some comfort knowing they have been reunited again. He was survived by his 8 children Rene Ramos, Alonzo Ramos, Jaime Hernández , Adrian Hernández, Alberto Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Lanzarot Ramos and Esperanza Hernández and (17) Grandchildren Adrian Ramos, William Lyon, Celia Ramos, Cristian Ramos, Gabriel Hernández, Phillip Hernández, Danielle-Rae Lyon, Samantha Trejo, Shinyuen Hernández-Zuo, Dakota Hernández, Diego Hernández, Mikel Ramos, Yessica Ramos, Sebastian Ramos, Jaime Hernández , Fernando Hernández and Melina Hernández and (5) Great Grandchildren Mickayla Trejo, Penelope Trejo, Jonathon Trejo, Emilia Ramos, and Liam Lyon

A funeral service for Jaime will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A graveside service will occur Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A burial will occur at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, Florida 34232.
