Roy bravely served in the US Army and was a Vietnam war veteran.
He was a retired Upper Arlington firefighter/ paramedic, retiring after many years of proud service.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Minturn, children Dawn Minturn, Jodi Reitz, Shelly Marshall (David), Troy Green, Brother Jerry Minturn, 3 granddaughters, 9 Great grandchildren and many friends, all who loved him dearly.
Roy was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by family and friends.
Roys remains will rest at the National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
