Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts from Ball State University in 1970 and his Master's of Arts in 1978. He furthered his education and received an Associate of Arts in Nursing from Manatee Community College in 1985.
Joseph was a man of strong faith, and was a parishioner and usher at the Church of St. Patrick. He and his wife, Cindy, could be found there every Sunday at the 7:30 mass.
Joseph was a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and the Florida Speech, Language and Hearing Association. He was an actor, with numerous professional and community theatres. Joseph also performed in numerous television and radio commercials. He just completed his 135th lifetime production.
Joseph enjoyed theatre, both as an actor and an audience member and long-distance bicycling. He was a life-long Cubs fan and when he moved to Florida, he became a Tampa Bay Rays fan.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Rogers-Brunner; loving children, Molly Brunner, Randolph Brunner and Megan Carter (Ian); brother, Robert Brunner (JoAnn) and sister, Joyce Maynard
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 7900 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota, FL 34241.
