Joseph Lamielle

Joseph P. Lamielle passed away suddenly at his home in Sarasota, FL on Oct. 24, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Debbie of 37 years. He leaves behind his two children, son Joey Lamielle of Sarasota and daughter Julie (Bryan) Rees of Bradenton, FL. He is survived by his sisters, Sandy (Ray) Henry of Winter Haven, FL; Peggy Roberts of Louisville, OH; Gerianne (Mike) Morrison of Sunbury, OH and Jaime Allbritain of North Canton, OH and brother Dr. Mark (Patty) Lamielle of Wimauma, FL. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, James and Pauline Lamielle.

Joseph was born in Canton, OH on Oct. 6, 1958 and lived in the area for 31 years. He then moved to Sarasota, FL with his family in 1989 and has been a resident ever since.

He will be remembered for his love of his family and the love of dogs, especially his “girls” Casey, Sophie and Shiloh and the love of his westerns.

His infectious crooked smile will be missed by all who knew him.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 until 5 PM at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232 on Sun. Oct. 29, 2017. A Memorial Mass will be held at 930 AM on Mon. Oct. 30, 2017 at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2901 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota, FL 342329.
