John Paul Gonzalez, 42, of Bradenton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 25, 2020. He was born in Weslaco, Texas on September 24, 1978. John Paul was fiancé to Jessica Ann Tamayo and “Dad” to Jose & Javier Tamayo. He was preceded in death by his father Ramon Gonzalez, brothers Edin Gonzalez & Ysidro Gonzalez. He is survived by his mother Amanda Gonzalez, sisters Juanita (Guy) Carvajal, Amanda (Rogelio) Salazar, Brenda (Horacio) Ramirez, brothers Ramon (Kim) Gonzalez, Albino Gonzalez, Pedro Gonzalez (Damaris Alvarado), David (Olga) Gonzalez,36 nieces & nephews and innumerable cousins.

John Paul was born with Spina Bifida and as a newborn underwent several surgeries and endured many more throughout his life. He was the sweetest soul to pass through our lives and his kindness and thoughtfulness touched everyone he met. John Paul was fearless. He accomplished much more than anyone expected but his biggest joy was the life he made with Jessica, Jose & Javier. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
