Julio R Gonzalez

Julio R Gonzalez, age 94, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. Julio was born in Camaguey Cuba, on October 1, 1928, to the late Felipe and Nieves (Martin) Gonzalez. Julio, a Chicago businessman and real estate investor, is survived by his loving children, Julio Gonzalez (Lourdes) and Eva I. Valenzuela (Adolfo); his brother Martin; and sister Gladys. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Diana Bourne (Brett), Monica Sayed (Elyas), Michael Gonzalez (Hillary), Andres Valenzuela (Emily), and Daniel Valenzuela (Mariah), and nine great grandchildren. Funeral service for Julio will take place Friday, March 24, 2023 at 3:00 PM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3930 17th St, Sarasota, FL 34235, with Father Celestino officiating. Visitation will be held the following day on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10 AM to 3:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A committal service will be held immediately thereafter at 3:00 PM at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
