She worked for Sarasota Moose Lodge # 1319 for over 30 years, making many friends and memories in the process. She was known as Grandma June.
She is survived by her two daughters; Carla D. (Danny) Young of Sarasota and Elena Johnson of NC; sons, Michael Strang of NC and Mickey Strang of Keene, NH. June also leaves behind 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
June was predeceased by her two loving daughters; Jody Strang Bywaters and Norma Jeanne Dinnan.
To most that knew her she was Momma June; Gramma June or June Bug.
A Graveside Service will be held at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232 Monday, November 21, 2016 at 1:30 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in June.
In lieu of flowers donations in June’s memory can be made to Moose Haven.
