Katherine Trautman

She was born on May 10, 1925 in Varsad, Hungary to Henry and Katherine Hild.

Katherine raised her 4 children with her husband, John and was a loving mother and wife. Her motto in life was “Love is everything”, and she represented this saying well with her family and friends. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Katherine was known for her baking and cooking and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and playing bingo and euchre. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sarasota.

Katherine is survived by her children, John (Terry) Trautman, Kathy (Dale) Motschman, Anna (Tom) Zimmerman, and Henry (Cynthia) Trautman; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Trautman; her brother, Henry Hild; her granddaughter, Angela Marie Motschman; and 2 great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Katherine will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 12pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave. in Sarasota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11am.

Interment will take place at Palms Robarts Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sun City Hospice.
