My name is mary  Ann Srock. I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom and dad.. I worked with your mom at walmart pharmacy. She invited me into her home and Invited me to do things with their family. I took lindsey to universal studios when the reddit's brother was ill. I remember when the hurricane was coming through, Loretta called and tell me , I better get myself over there. When I got there , I ask where chris was. She said he was out buying food for the hurricane. When he got home he had two hundred dollars worth of chips dips and doritos. He said we need food to eat cause.We can't cook! I really enjoyed being around your family. They really made me feel at home. God bless you And give you.

I was attempting to look up your contact information to inform you of Jim Moody’s passing at age 93.  We were shocked to find you had passed away in 2021🥺
Jim (our Papa Moody) had adopted Kris and you as his own family.  Because of the connection, we loved you too.  You were so easy to endear and so loving!

Her love of Disney & passion for music brings me to just 1 of the memories I have.  Every year, when she got the concert line-up, she would plan out the dates of the concerts she was interested in.  One year, there was a lot of dates that said "TBD."  She thought TBD was a band.  When she told us that Lindsey told her what TBD stood for it was game on, and all of us laughed.   It was a running joke with us all.   Enjoy every "TBD" concert!!

      My dear friend and sister, I have thought and prayed much over what to write.  How to help others see what a kind, loving, caring person you are and how you dearly loved sharing your faith with others.  Then I realized those who might read this message already know all of this because they know you.  So instead, I decided to thank you for all the fun times.
      The first day Kris brought you and Lindsey over to install window treatments, we knew we would be steadfast friends. I so enjoyed our times walking while you shared the teaching of Jim from the prior week.  Our trips to Night of Joy will always be in my heart.  The laughter when we played cards and the time at the driving range looking for peeking ducks.  The trips to North and South Carolina during Thanksgiving.
      As I watched you walk through the different seasons of your life, I saw such grace and faith.  I want you to know I will do my very best to honor our last words, “take care of our girl.”  Our girl is loved dearly and Larry and I will do our very best to honor this request.  Love you!


Dear loretta
I miss you a lot.  I miss our dinners we used to have. We tried at least every couple of months to go out to eat. We’d have to tell the waitress that we would be there a while to take her time. Usually a couple hours later we’d be heading home. Alway a very good time. 

I’m glad I got to know you,  You were a beautiful person inside and out. You will not be forgotten. RIP Loretta you were taken way too soon

Your Mom expressed a beautiful smile which seemed contagious to everyone who met her. I remember the time we all went to a restaurant before attending Natalie Grant's concert in Tampa a couple of years ago. It was my first time meeting both of you and seeing your beautiful smiling faces!  She is still smiling but with Jesus now. Although, we will join her someday. :)

I first met your mom , when your dad brought her out to  the shop . He wanted us to meet the love of his life.We immediately fell in love with her too. I have so many happy memories of her. 
Yelling “momma” during Bohemian rhapsody.Too many air guitar solos to list . Dancing the twist. Tequila shots and killer margaritas. Laughing and singing loud and off key with Don’s player piano. She would say “nailed it “ after each song .she called everybody hun or sweetie.She was the kindest person I’ve ever known . 
Still think about her everyday and miss her so much. I love you crazy girls . 


From the time we met at age 12 you accepted me for me and treated me as an equal. We shared a first kiss and stoning thanks to a bishop’s son. You introduced me to Godzilla and disco roller skating.  We shared a dream of our old age that came true, briefly. Miles separated us but every time we met it was as if we hadn’t been apart. You made me feel rich when I had no money. We were “Goofy” together and our experiences as wondrous as “Bubbles” and yes “Darling “ I’ll miss you till we meet again. P.S. I know you hate texting but it’s your turn to write! Love you! I will never forget the weekend we went to all the Disney's in one weekend! We used Kris' pass to get us all in for free. We rode all the fun rides.. tower of terror and the speed racing car? It is one the highlights of my childhood and a weekend I never forgot. Thank you for your beautiful energy and adventurous self that you shared with us all. 

I've worked for the family for 21 years and I feel as though I'm a part of it.  So when Bonnie passed, I felt I lost a mother figure.  When Kris passed I felt I lost a brother.  And now with Loretta's passing I feel like I've lost a sister and really dear friend.  I've had the pleasure of getting to know her more when she moved back to the Country Store.  I'll miss her bright smile and love for life.   She loved music and having fun.  I'll miss our champagne Fridays  and looking forward to attending our next Friday Night Dance Party when this crazy world got closer to being normal again.  May you rest in peace and to quote the Righteous Brothers If you believe in forever then life is just a one night stand.  If there's a rock and roll heaven well you know they've got a hell of a band.  Hope you enjoy the show.  Love and miss you.

Everyone became a better person if they were able to call you a friend.  I was blessed to have your friendship for most of my life, and I am grateful for the amazing memories that we created. The childhood memories that I have of you will always be in my heart. Our Disney trips, cruises and road trips will never be the same without you, but I know that you will be there in spirit. Thank you for the incredible memories and for taking care of me when I needed you the most. This is not a goodbye, but a message to tell you that I can't wait to see you again in heaven!

Loretta I am sorry that you had to go so soon. You were great fellow associate at Walmart # 2459. You will be missed by many of us. Rest In Peace. 

Great memories when her and Kris were dating to standing up for them in there wedding w/ Barbara . Loretta being of great faith , Love and kindness to all . I'm sure we will always carry a piece of her with us . At Peace now in Gods loving arms  

I was blessed to be a part of Loretta's life for almost 50 years.  I have so many great memories of our younger years going to the beach, jumping off the bridges down in Boca Grande, being the maid of honor in each other's weddings and just hanging out talking and sharing life's experiences.  Loretta's beautiful spirit, kindness and warmth are qualities that I so admired in her and will miss tremendously.  I have never met anyone as kind and loving as Loretta and I will definitely miss her sense of humor.  We could always find something to laugh about even if it was ourselves were we laughing at.

I will forever be thankful that God allowed us to become friends as kids and for being  a part of each other's lives for so long.  It is truly a blessing knowing someone as special as Loretta.

I met Loretta and Kris about 8 years ago in a professional capacity.  They were both so kind and sharing people. With their wealth of knowledge they helped me out.  Loretta did an amazing job continuing the business after losing Kris. She was always there to get me out of a bind... Loretta, you were a great woman and shall be sadly missed. 
May you rest on peace .. 

Loretta was the most wonderful woman so kind and sweet.Always putting others before herself. She had such a beautiful smile and beautiful blue eyes she came into my life and changed it forever I  miss her so much.  She was the best friend anyone could have. I love you darling and will cherish you in my heart always❤❤❤

It seems like just yesterday when Dave and I stood up for Loretta and Kris at their wedding.  Then Lindsey came along. A very special family.  Loretta was sweet. Kind. Strong in her faith. A loving mother. She will be missed by many. She will join Kris, and they both will continue to watch over and love Lindsey from above.  ❤️🙏❤️

I got to know Loretta just a short time ago, but felt I'd known her for a long time. Loretta was one of the kindest,sweetest ladies I've ever known.   I'm lucky to have gotten to know Loretta & I will miss her.

You were one of the most beautiful and patient souls I ever met.  Nothing ever got you rattled like it does most of us.  A beautiful and sweet woman who touched so many lives. Thank you for teaching me about your craft, but thank you most for teaching me not to sweat the small stuff. RIP
