Born April 1, 1924, in Lenox, Massachusetts, she grew up in the nearby town of Lee with her mother, Madeline G. Earle, and Brother William “Billy” Earle. She graduated from Lee High School in 1941.
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother and loving husband of 60 years, George C. Besaw, who died in 2004 in Sarasota.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Walsh, and granddog Mima of Sarasota; Son, George “Gary” Besaw (Catherine) of Carmel, Indiana; and her beloved Granddaughter, Kerry Besaw (Nathan Wellman), and cherished Great-Granddaughter Isabella Wellman, all of Carmel, Indiana.
The family would like to thank the staff and management of The Heron Club and Prestancia and Tidewell Hospice for their extraordinary care and support during her last months.
