Oliver Daniel Ostlander

He was born in Karlsruhe, Germany, on August 9th, 1970, and raised in California. Oliver graduated from Palm Springs High School and received a business degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

He married Lisa Sabattini on May 6th, 2017.

Oliver worked his entire career in IT, most recently as the Head of Managed Care and Casualty IT Operations with Sedgwick as a valued leader in the IT Americas family.

Oliver was loved by all who knew him. He had a magnetic personality and a laugh that was truly unforgettable. To know Oliver was an absolute privilege. He was a gentle giant with a zest for living his life to the fullest and lived the life of a thousand men. Anyone who got to be a part of it, big or small, instantly became a friend. He was joyful by nature and his glass was always more than full. He loved his wife, his children, and his family, along with many friends and co-workers and man’s best friend, his dog Moose. Oliver loved grilling, fishing and spending time on the water with family and friends. He was passionate about college football, especially his beloved University of Southern California Trojans. The loss of Oliver is felt far and wide and all that loved him will forever carry a void in their hearts as so many would testify he was truly one of a kind! Raise your glass in his honor, he is surely raising his in heaven looking down on all of us!!!

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children, Oliver II (Bear), Katie, Erica, Emily, and stepdaughter Lauren; mother Angelika Foster (Steve), grandmother Gerta Mankin, brother Marcus Kile (Wendy), and nieces and nephews Haile, Alexis, and William.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Longboat Key Club, 3000 Harbourside Dr., Longboat Key, FL 34228.
