A graduate of Penn Hall Girls School in Chambersburg, PA and Penn State University class of 1951. She attended the University of Texas graduate school for two years.
Formally married to Dr. Joseph Haller from Hollidaysburg, PA. She is survived by four daughters: Jody Drake from Alexandria, VA. Beth LaSala from Cape Elizabeth, ME, Enid Haller from Quechee, VT, Jill Brannan from Lakewood Ranch, FL. six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Dudley Potter, her brother Robert Potter and her beloved cat, Beau.
While living in Altoona, PA, Polly was President of the Blair County Dental Auxiliary, a Board Member of the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, and the previous owner of Jethro’s Restaurant. Over the years, Polly devoted much of her time to various community organization and charities.
She had a full life of travel, music, and the arts. She loved playing the piano, singing and painting.
Polly has been a resident of Florida for the last 20 years.
