Robert, known to the family as Buzz or Buzzy, was my mother’s younger brother by 6 years. Mom told me she ran away from home when Buzzy was born, having been an only child until he came along! She ran all the way to the corner of their street, Patterson Dr., to their grandparents house!
My uncle Buzz and Aunt Emmy started a family very early and stayed together until death sadly parted them in their later years. That is an accomplishment that many cannot claim! I have so many loving memories of long summer visits with them and my cousins. Sleep overs, swimming and going to the beach, playing cards, and so much more! A Tennessee cousin’s dream come true. Every summer for 18 years, and I knew we all truly loved each other and still do! It created a lifelong bond that wouldn’t have existed without Uncle Buzz’s part of truly loving all of us. He was a great man!
To Robby, Serena, Teresa, and Kenny, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, and will treasure your parents memories forever!
