Robert Edward Johnston, age 53, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at home. He was born in Clearwater, Florida January 1, 1968 to the late George E. and Doloris (Seal) Johnston.
Robert held a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Robert had a Class A water operator’s license and worked in water treatment for various city and county governments. Rob worked as a contractor as a water plant operator in Iraq and in Guantanamo, Cuba. He enjoyed all water activities, especially boating and fishing.
Robert is survived by his loving daughters Coral (14) and Cassidy (9), of Boynton Beach, Florida, his eleven siblings: Joyce, Largo; Paul, Spring Hill; Ronald, Pinellas Park; Dale, Beverly Hills; Janet, Apollo Beach; Betty, Englewood; David, Seminole; Albert, Largo; Alice, Venice; Charlie, Largo; and Lois, St. Petersburg, and 14 nieces and nephews.
The Johnston family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
