Ruth Miller, age 93 of Sarasota, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. She was born in Spencerville, IN on July 26, 1932. Ruth was a homemaker, skilled seamstress, and avid baker. She was well known for her cinnamon rolls with which she blessed many over the years. She was a longstanding member of Bayshore Church, and loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Raymond Miller. She is survived by her children MaryLou (Dave) Hawkes, Sarasota, FL, JoAnn (Bob) Brubaker, Lyndhurst, VA, Terry (Arbo) Miller, Waynesboro, VA, Connie (Vernon) Sommers, Sarasota, FL, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and her sister Emma Kinzer, Edon, OH.
There will be a private ceremony, but family and friends are invited to an open house on Sunday, December 14th, 3:00 PM-5:00 PM, at the home of Vernon and Connie Sommers.
