Ruth Shirley Mueller

Ruth S. Mueller (Luedtke) 88 of Sarasota, Fl; formerly of Port Edwards, WI. Passed from life at Crescent Health Rehabilitation on August 17, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.

Ruth was born on March 19, 1935 in Schofield, WI; the daughter of Edwin and Bernice Luedtke.

She was sweet, caring, loyal, hardworking, a loving wife of 54 years; and mother of 8 children.

For many years she worked in luxury retail, the dental industry and as a CNA as a private duty nurse and in assisted living facilities throughout Sarasota, until 83 years of age. Caring for others was her passion and in her soul. She thoroughly enjoyed making others happy.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Kevin L. Mueller of Lakewood, Co; Todd M. Mueller of Bellvue, Co; 4 daughters : Debra (Rich) Anderson (Mueller) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. ; Holly Schlegelmilch ( Mueller) of Sarasota, Fl.; Stephanie (Rick) James ( Mueller ) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; Amy (Brett) Morrow (Mueller) of Sarasota, Fl; 13 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 2 brothers: Charles Luedtke of Wasau, WI; Daniel Luedtke of Fresno, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband Robert N. Mueller; 2 sons, Scott A. Mueller and Kurt E. Mueller; 4 brothers: Robert Luedtke; James Luedtke; Leroy Luedtke; and Dale Luedtke; 2 sisters: Lois Luedtke; and Charlotte (Boots) Luedtke.

Private family memorial service will take place at Palms-Roberts Memorial Park in Sarasota, FL.
