Sara Aiello Our Mother was born in in Casteldaccia, Italy in 1928. She grew up in a beautiful seaside town where flowers and fruit trees grew, and where the mountains meet the sea. In the 1950's, her family moved to New York City where she enjoyed the excitement of Manhattan and enjoyed Italian festivals, concerts and movies. She married in Italy and started her family in New York then moved to Sarasota in 1972. Sara loved Sarasota where she enjoyed swimming, cooking, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family. She had a passion for cooking and all that knew her were blessed with her beautiful food. She loved her 4 girls, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and all of her family. She was funny, smart, courageous and beautiful. Her exuberant personality left an impression on everyone she met. Although deeply saddened, we feel fortunate to have had our loving mother for almost 92 years. We will always cherish her strength, guidance, wisdom, love, and amazing dedication to family. We will keep her in our hearts forever. ❤Our Beloved “Mother”, Our Beloved “Nonni”, Our Beloved “Sara”.❤
