Susanne P Mosler

Susanne Mosler (nee Popluder) passed away on August 22, 2023 in University Park, FL. The funeral will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore, Sarasota, FL on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 10am.

She is survived by her husband Henry A. Mosler of 57 years. She is also survived by her children: Alisa Mosler and Lance King, Randi and Paul Carlson, and Jeffrey and Amber Mosler; her five wonderful grandchildren: Bailey Carlson, Ryan Carlson, Nina Mosler, Dylan Mosler, and Sydney King; and her brother Mark Popluder. She was preceded in death by her parents Nathan Popluder and Belle Popluder (nee Rosenbaum) and her sister Toba Rae Popluder.

Susanne was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 21, 1945 and spent her childhood in Baltimore. She graduated from Forest Park High School and was a member of the badminton team. She was also a member of Phi Delta sorority during her high school years. Susanne went on to attend the University of Maryland and graduated with a BS degree in Elementary Education. Susanne was a member of Sigma Delta Tau sorority while at Maryland.

Susanne was an excellent tennis player with a wicked slice backhand, Life Master duplicate bridge player, elementary school teacher, dating counsellor, and real estate agent. She lived life to the fullest and filled every room she was in. Susanne will be missed beyond measure. May she rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.

A funeral service for Susanne will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
