Willard Edward "Ed" Smith Jr., 75 of Sarasota, FL passed away on Oct. 10, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Thomas; children, Karen, Deborah, Madeline, Shelly and Earl; sister, Susie; step-children, Terry, Lisa and Bobbie and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ed is preceded in death by his son, Willard "Eddie" III and step-daughter, Della.
A memorial service for Ed was held on Mon. Oct. 13, 2014 at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
