William F. “Bill” Johnson, 88, of Osprey, FL formerly of West Springfield, MA died on May 13, 2015.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Wed. May 27, 2015 at Arbors Mobile Park Home Clubhouse, Osprey, FL.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years, Claire; loving children, William F. Jr. (Barbara) Johnson, Patricia A. (John) Schutt, Carol J. (Terrell) Hart and Robert M. (Dr. Kate) Johnson; 8 cherished grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers.
Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA where he joined the US Army Air Corps then Air Force during WWII. He belonged to Mt. Orthodox Lodge and Melha Shrine Center, in Springfield, MA for 59 years. Bill was the owner of W.F. Johnson & Son Elec. Co., Inc. retiring in 1978 to Florida.
Burial will take place in Massachusetts at a later date.
