Born on June 3, 1937 in Reutlingen, Germany, he is survived by his wife, Dorita and her children, Andy Dufek (Marla) and Jim Dufek; stepson, Thomas Jimerson (Edith); stepdaughter, Carren and sister, Irmgard Frueh of Germany.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine and brother, Karl Heinz Frueh.
Willy was a U.S. Citizen and served in the U.S. Army. His baking knowledge enabled him to eventually own the Rolling Pin Bakery in Bladensburg, MD. He worked hard and loved to travel and dance. His Bavarian folk dancing with the Washingtonia Club was a passion. He called Sarasota, Florida home for the last 17 years. He was a member of the German American Society of Pinellas County and Elks Lodge in Sarasota. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wed. July 8, 2015 from 11 am until the time of service at 12 noon at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Sarasota, FL.
