Hildegarde Katherine Voss Scott

age 84, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2017.

Hildegarde was born August 7, 1932 in Hammond, Indiana to the late William and Hedwig Voss. Also preceding her in death are her loving husband, Robert Fuller Scott; brothers, Billy and Fred Voss; and sister, Ursula Leistikow.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Mardy) Monson, Judy (Terry) Gemmecke, Robert W. Scott, Randolph (Kate) Scott, Steve (Michele) Scott, and William (Tara) Scott; grandchildren, Missy, Wes, Nikki, Katy, Carly, Conrad, Amanda, Ashley, Aaron, Erick, Courtney, Kyle, Emilee, and Brandon; great grandchildren, Gabby, Maddie, Paige, Melina, Paxton, Leon; sister, Judy (Jim) McCollough of Las Vegas, NV.

Hildegarde was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. After raising her children, she enjoyed babysitting and caring for her grandkids and her dear friend's children. Hildegarde enjoyed ceramics, crochet, and many other crafts. She was an avid Bunco enthusiast. (BUNCO!!!!).

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 11 am until the time of her funeral at 12:00 noon at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
