Larry M. Kaplan, 64, of Chicago Il, formerly of Homewood, Il, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013. He is survived by his loving children; Jennifer (Brian) Kaplan, Joshua (Terra) Kaplan, and Julia (Phillip) Bunge and his adoring grandchildren; Jurian, Kaelin, Jarod, Eliza, Johanna, Gabriel, Kayla, Zoey, and Jase.
Larry is also survived by his siblings; Susan (Art) Wolfe, Jay (Charlotte) Kaplan, and Richard (Kathy) Kaplan, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Irene (Nee Schwartz) Kaplan and father Sam Kaplan.
Larry was an avid Chicago sports fan as well as loving father and grandfather.
He will greatly be missed, but we look forward to seeing him in heaven.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline ave., Schererville, IN). Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
