Marcella (West) Jones, 92, Schererville, IN, died Wednesday August 10, 2011. Marcella was born to the late Alfred E. and Eva (Baize) West in Drakesbroro, Kentucky on September 16, 1918. Marcella married Claren W. Jones who preceded her in death. Marcella was a member of the Pentecostal of South Lake Church, and TOPS-Dyer Chapter. Surviving are two sons and daughter in-laws: Jerry and Patricia Jones, James and Beulah Jones. One daughter in-law: Kathryn N. Jones. One sister and brother-in-law: Marion and James Gilland. One brother: Harvey D. West. One sister-in-law: Emarie West. 12 grandchildren. 26 great-grandchildren. 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, one son: Larry S. Jones. One brother: S. Lee West. One sister: Corrine Nanny. Family will receive friends Monday, August 15, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. Funeral Service will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Pentecostal of South Lake Church.
