Michael S. Case

Michael S. Case, 50 of Griffith, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. He was born September 2, 1960 in Evergreen Park, IL to Jim & Betty (nee:Bianucci) Case. He was a 1978 graduate of T.F. North High School, Calumet City, IL and later attended and graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago Circle. Mike was employed for 25 plus years at Allied Tube & Conduit in Harvey, IL. Mike was a very spiritual person and could often be found deep in thought. He was a very understanding, compassionate man. An avid and proud Chicago Blackhawks fan, Mike reveled in the 2010 run to the Stanley Cup. When time permitted, he could be found working on his car, riding his motorcycle, drinking his favorite Dunkin Donuts coffee, or maybe even kicking back and enjoying his music. Mike was a loving father that cherished his role as Dad. Mike’s greatest passion was his love for his family, who will miss him deeply.

Mike is survived by his three children: daughters: Callie & Courtney Case and son Colton Case. His parents: Jim & Betty Case. Brothers: Jeff Case and Dan (Elisabeth) Case. Also survived by Donna Case. Nieces and nephews: Nicole, Tony, Willy, Charlie, Jessica and Kameryn.

A visitation for Mike will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Schererville, IN. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the funeral home. Reverend Doug Klukken will be officiating.
