Betty Slinkard-Muth, age 96, passed away on December 5th, 2022. She spent her early years in suburban Chicago. Her first husband, William Childress, was the father of her son, Barry. She and "Bill" lived in Illinois, the Denver area, and Tempe, AZ. Her 2nd husband Robert Jorgensen, passed away in 1988. A brief marriage to Lester Slinkard ended in 1990. In 2004 she married Clarence Muth, who passed away in 2015. She spent her last months in Maryland to be closer to her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She had been employed with Illinois Bell, and was a claims processor for Motorola.
She leaves behind her son Barry, daughter-in-law Gale, stepchildren Mary & David Muth, grandsons Yitzhak & Abraham Childress, step-grandsons Michael & Andrew Hammerand, granddaughters Sara Guscott, Laya Greges, and Aviva Sidlow, step-granddaughter Amy Hammerand, great-granddaughters Eden & Lilith Guscott and Emily Greges, and great-grandsons Asher Greges and Emet Sidlow.
She will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale.
