Bobby graduated from North High in Phoenix, then worked for over 33 years and retired from Mountain Bell. He was a lifetime member and Exalted Ruler of the Elks Club in Phoenix. Bobby was a Golden Gloves boxer and enjoyed playing golf, pool, watching westerns, and volunteered with the Special Olympics and also as a baseball coach.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Coppinger and his grandson, Jeff Barker. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Cathy Hunton of Glendale; son, Rick (Julie) Coppinger of Phoenix; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Bobby will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
