

Bruce Morris Lummis went home to heaven to be with his LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST on May 24, 2021, peacefully in the arms of his loving wife and three daughters. He was born in Collingswood, NJ on May 30, 1936. Bruce graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
He was married to Barbara Ann Loadholtz on April 4, 1959 in Haddon Heights, NJ. Bruce was a leader in the Telecom Industry working at The Campbell Soup Company, The Sun Oil Company, and QVC. He loved being a part of an ever changing industry as he saw first hand the innovation in technology. Bruce served his Country with honor in the Army and the Army Reserves. Bruce loved to play golf on the weekends, but he was thrilled to join The BWM Club Car of America. At the early age of 65, he raced for years. Then he joined the board to support the Phoenix area races, even helping on the Pit Crew.
Bruce built his family on a firm foundation based on the word of God. He enjoyed being a part of his church and served as an Elder and Deacon. He felt honored to be able to help and support those in need. Bruce loved his 3 daughters along with his 10 grandchildren and his 4 great grandchildren. He made sure to have a special and unique relationship with each one of them. Most of all Bruce was a loving husband to his wife Barbara. He truly is an example of a Man of God and will be missed beyond words.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Barbara Ann Lummis of Chandler, Arizona; his three daughters, Cathy A. Gould (Bill Gould) of Tempe, Arizona, Denise G. McLaughlin (David McLaughlin) of Avalon, NJ and Sharon L. Tochterman (Eric Tochterman) of Woodstock, GA; sister,
Martha Whitelock of Gwynn Oak Maryland; ten grandchildren, Carissa Maxwell (Matt Maxwell), Ryan Gould, Devin Gould (Rachel Soqui), Stephen Gould, Tarryn Gould, Brenden McLaughlin (Amber Richardson), Shane McLaughlin, Megan McLaughlin, Finn Tochterman and Alec Tochterman; four great grandchildren, Jonah Maxwell, Payton Maxwell, Matti Maxwell and Chloe McLaughlin.

A service will be held in honor of Bruce on Friday, September 3rd 10:00 am at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery (401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257). Followed by a Celebration of Life at 12pm, more details to follow.
