Catherine Lena Perone

Catherine Lena Perone, 84, passed away on July 8, 2018 at her home in Anthem, Arizona. She was born on January 6, 1934 in Clifton, New Jersey to Cornelia and Rosario Donato. She dedicated her life to helping others. She volunteered for the Salvation Army in Kauai, Hawaii as well as numerous other non-profit organizations both here and abroad. She took tremendous joy in raising three generations of children and teaching them life’s valuable lessons. Catherine is survived by her beloved family including her husband of 67 years, Robert A. Perone; son, William Perone; daughter, Roberta Perone; grandson, Robert Perone; granddaughter, Janay Perone; and great-grandson Everett Funderburk. Visitation services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Green Acres Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at Green Acres Chapel of Light (401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85257) at 10:00 am on Sunday, July 15, 2018 followed by a committal service at Green Acres Cemetery.
