Laird, D. Jean 86, passed peacefully on June 7, 2013, in Mesa, AZ. She was born on March 30, 1927, in Hollister, OH, to loving parents William and Hazel Cobb. In 1955 she moved to Arizona and in 1969 she married the love of her life Robert Laird in Tempe, AZ. They had one son together, Stephen Laird, and three granddaughters who treasured Grandma Jean and were able to live with her for the last nine years. She is preceded by her parents, loving husband, and brother Bill. She is succeeded by her son Stephen; daughter-in-law Gretchen; granddaughters Ashlyn, Katie, Jacqueline; sisters Becky and Marilyn; and brother Jim. In lieu of flowers please make donation to Hospice of the Valley. Memorial Service is scheduled for 12:30PM, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, 85257.
