Dollie Jean Diggs

Dollie was born on April 2, 1933 to B.W Williams and Georgia Wofford in Frankfurt, Texas. At an early age, she went to go live with her father, B.W. and stepmother Mamie, along with siblings Annie, Althea, Arneathus, Butch and Ricky.

She attended Carver High School specializing in secretarial classes. She eventually met and married Sylvanus "Jack" Boyer and together they had four daughters, Sandee, Mickey, Tonee and Gina.

She was a stay-at-home mother until she entered the workforce, working at Sperry and then Motorola where she worked as an Executive Secretary in the Security Department. While at Motorola, she won the Ms. Motorola Pageant and Employee of the Year Award numerous times. She also worked at Casual Corner as a Fashion Consultant, organizing fashion shows, and often used her daughters and their friends as models.

Dollie was also a member of the Medallions Social organization, the Jack and Jill club, and several other charitable organizations. Dollie loved to give house parties, where she played a mean game of bid whist. The house was often filled with her friends, especially whenever they found out Dollie Jean was cooking.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Kiva, parents, sister Annie, brother Butch, grandson, Darrell Russell III and granddaughter, Taylor Boyer.

Dollie is survived by her husband; Robert Diggs, children; Saundra Walker, Sylvia Boyer-Chewning, Antoinette Boyer, Gina Boyer and Na'il Diggs. grandchildren, Brandon Boyer, Kiva Holly-Wood, Erica Wilson, Sidney Bell II (wife Erica), Kendria Chewing, Jazzmen Chewing, Dallas Chewing, Antwanete Boyer-Chewning, Bailey Chewing, Seara Chewing, Na'il Diggs II, Nai'a Diggs, great grandchildren, Kailee, Marcus, Miles, Hannah, Lil Brandon, Kahlil, Mahayla, Frankie, Orion, Jhordan, Sidney III, Abraham, Silas, Sakarias, and her first great great granddaughter, arriving any day, and 54 Foster grandkids. Also, her siblings, Althea Lett, Arneathus Price, Ricky Williams, Antoinette Boyer and Anthony Williams and a host of nieces and nephews.
