

During her high school years in Grand Junction, she met Russell J. Cox, her late husband with whom she enjoyed 59 years of marriage.
In 1952, Russell entered full-time ministry – and together they began their life of serving churches in Colorado, Arizona, Pennsylvania, California and Florida. They were the founders of Tempe First Assembly of God, which originally met in Danforth Chapel on the ASU campus.
Dolores was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Surviving are: her daughters Janet (Kenneth) Seegren, Judith (Roger, deceased) Lawrence, Dianne (Doak) Bendix, and Deborah (Peter) Zeiner; six grandchildren (Andrew Lawrence, Bradley Lawrence, Cody Bendix, Connor Bendix, Sarah Zeiner and Nikolas Zeiner); and her sisters, Dianne Littlefield and Dorothy Jean Leis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, and her brothers, Donald Young and Paul Wolever.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th – 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Celebration of Her Life: Saturday, May 16th – 12:00 Noon.
