It was a true privilege and joy to know Dottie. She was such a generous, faithful and kind person.  Even with her limitations the last several years, she was so gracious and had such a good sense of humor. The many meals we shared and our long visits were always an encouragement. She was a true friend, and I will miss her. I also so appreciate her faithful and generous support of my ministry with the Navigators at ASU. Her partnership played an important part in reaching international students for Christ these last several years and I will never forget her generosity. She was a true servant of the Lord and it was an amazing blessing to know her. 

I so enjoyed my visits with Dottie (and Deke) over the years.  Their spirit of generosity, their selflessness and their love for Jesus Christ  were an encouragement to me.

We will miss Dottie, and the boundless joy and zest she had for life. Jesus is  her rock, and she was an evangelist in her unique and beautiful way. We have been blessed beyond our imagination by knowing and loving Deke and  Dottie. Her wit and wisdom were always peppered  with laughter, or sometimes with tears of joy. I've learned much about selflessness and generosity from Dottie. Now her joy is complete, and she is home, where she's longed to be.

I will always treasure the visits we had with Dottie. Hearing her sing along with the hymns was a true joy.  Praising God that she is once again united with her husband!  Love and prayers to the family.

My heartfelt sympathy to Dottie's family.  I will miss her she was so special to me.  In some ways she was like another Mother to me.  When I brought my Mom home through hospice Deke and Dottie were truly there for me every step of the way.  She was a great listener and one of the best persons I ever met in my life.  She truly did love the Lord. I was inspired by her and enjoyed the conversations we had. I loved her smile and her laugh and her great sense of humor.  Also loved giving her hugs and telling her I loved her.  I know she's at peace and is with our Lord and Deke.  She will always have a very special place in my heart and I will never ever forget her.  

Dottie was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a heart of gold and loved her family. She was so giving and kind and loved to laugh.   While in church she loved the after service social time watching all the little children running around! She really was a kid at heart.
Her faith in God was so important to her throughout her life.  She was a faithful member of her church for over 60 years.
Dottie’s friendly and welcoming smile made everyone feel special. She was an example for those whom knew her.
Her love for Phoenix Christian School PreK-8 was a blessing to those of us involved with the school. She was always wanting to know how the school was doing. She played a huge part by her continued prayers for the school, it’s students, the families, the faculty, staff, administration, and school boards.
Everyone who knew Dottie loved her. She walked the walk and talked the talk! She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
