Dorothy Arlene Stahlfeld (nee Sohrweid) peacefully passed to eternity on Sunday, May 11, 2014. She was 83. She devoted her life to the service of her Lord and the care of her family. She committed countless hours of volunteer service to her church, the American Braille Society and many hospitals. Her and her husband were founding members of Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, Arizona where Dorothy regularly attended worship and bible class and was always willing to help where needed. She is survived by her son Gregory (Carol) Geisler, three granddaughters Amanda (James ) Vreeland, Elizabeth (Connor) Bidwill and Kimberlee (Brad) Obrochta, three great grand sons, Jackson and Zachary Vreeland and Mason Obrochta, one brother-in-law Donald (Joan) Stahlfeld, three nieces Beverly Butler, Carol Sohrweid and Karen (Lynn) McAdam and two nephews Eric (Susan) Stahlfeld and Kurt (Meg) Stahlfeld. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee G. Stahlfeld, her parents and her brothers. She will be missed by all who knew her.
