Elissa Rose Pinnell (Rogers) Jennings, age 77, passed away on January 7, 2011 at Mesa, Arizona. Born October 15, 1933, in Kansas, Illinois, she was the daughter of Harrol & Eunice (Finney) Pinnell. Elissa moved to Wickenburg, AZ at the age of 11, graduated from Wickenburg High School in 1951, graduated from Arizona State University in 1964, and then taught at Kurene Elementary School District for 20 years. She is the dear mother of Rena (partner Mary Lou) Rogers of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Diana (Donald) Sutton of Colorado; William (Lani) Rogers of Mesa, AZ and Elaine (Ricardo) Jordan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dear grandmother of 15, and great grandmother of 13. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Jennings, her parents, her sister Janice Pinnell Savage, brother Raymond, granddaughter, Gabriella Rose Martin, and great granddaughter, Brittan Kennedy Sheridan. Visitation Friday, January 14, 2011, 5 - 7 PM, at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257, where funeral services will be held 9:30 AM Saturday, January 15, 2011. Interment Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
