In faith and love we honor the life of Emma, an extraordinary woman, a devoted Catholic, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Emma was wise, resilient, generous, and deeply loving. A classic beauty with grace, poise, and quiet glamour, she carried herself as a true lady in every season of life.
As a young girl, Emma would sit and read, captivated by the images in her father’s books and Life magazines, dreaming of the beautiful and exciting places she would one day see. Those dreams became reality. Alongside her beloved husband, Romeo, she traveled far and wide, embracing the world with curiosity and joy. No matter how far they traveled, her heart was always with Romeo and with Paris, a place she loved deeply and carried with her always.
Emma lived her faith not only through prayer, but through action. She was a faithful presence at the Church of the Holy Spirit, quietly serving by preparing and providing meals for others, an offering made with love, care, and humility. Her generous and philanthropic spirit also led her to serve through the Red Cross, the American Heart Association, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Giving was not simply something Emma did; it was who she was.
She was a devoted wife, a loving and dedicated mother, and a deeply cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. To her family, Emma was a steady source of wisdom, strength, and unconditional love, a soft place to land in a world that can often feel unsteady. She was a role model in the truest sense, teaching by example how to live with dignity, compassion, and faith.
While her passing brings deep sorrow, we are sustained by our faith. We believe that death is not an end, but a passage, a homecoming. Emma has completed her earthly journey and has been welcomed into eternal rest, reunited with her beloved husband and son, and with loved ones who went before her, embraced in God’s infinite mercy and love.
Though we grieve, we also trust in the mystery of God’s design—that love, once given, is never lost. It remains with us in memory, in spirit, and in the quiet moments when we feel her presence near.
Emma will always be in our hearts. Her grace lives on. Her faith endures. And her legacy of love will continue to guide us until we meet again.
