Franklin Bishop Hemming, 83, passed away peacefully Feb 27, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1943 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Frederick and Marjorie Hemming. When Frank met Jonell they knew they met their true love. They were married in 1964 and began their family and legacy together, they were married for 61 years. Frank was a dedicated and hardworking man who always made sure his family was provided for. He volunteered as a Phoenix Police Reserve officer for 13 years retiring as a Captain. He was a motor sports enthusiast and loved spending retirement at his Munds Park home. Frank was cherished by family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness and unwavering spirit touched countless lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Thomas Hemming.
Franklin is survived by his loving wife Jonell Hemming, 4 children Kimberly Raymond, Melanie Smith, Franklin Hemming and Brandon Hemming. He was a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 6. (#7 coming summer 2026)
