Helen, 98, passed away on June 11, 2012. She was born on February 4, 1914 in Cass County, MN to Claire Brownell and Ira Dailey. On Dec. 24, 1940, Helen married Tom Tate. They lived in Maddock, ND until 1960, before moving to Scottsdale, AZ, for 20 years. Helen owned ABC Land Nursery in Phx and Tom taught at Kiva Elementary. In 1980, they retired to Tucson. Loved by family and friends, Helen enjoyed time with her grandkids, sewing, and church activities. Helen is survived by her children: Jay, Eldray, and Sharyn; grandchildren: Scott and Kimberly, Danny and Kristin, David, Rebecca, and Paul, Charis and Michael; four great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Violet Dailey. Helen is predeceased by her husband Tom, son Dean, granddaughter Courtney, great-granddaughter Claire, and her brothers Glenn, Everett, and Leonard Dailey. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm, at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ.
