Hossein Hashemi-kia, son of Marzieh Yagoubi and Yousef Hashemi-kia, was born November 15, 1948, in Tehran, Iran. Early in his high school years, he moved to England to continue his high school and college studies. Shortly after finishing college in 1975, as a polymer chemist, he moved to US and was residing in US since then. He got married on December1991 and has two beautiful kids, named Ali and Mona. For the past 14 years Hossein was battling a set of chronic illnesses. He was 68 when he finally lost that battle and passed away, here in Phoenix Arizona on May 16, 2017.
