Jacqueline Michelle (White) Carlson

Jacqueline Michelle White-Carlson, 48, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on January 16, 2023, following a long battle with cancer. Jackie was born on December 21, 1974, in Mesa, Arizona, to Charles L., III, and Marilyn White. She was the younger of their 2 daughters. She attended Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Arizona, and W. T. White High School in Dallas, Texas. Jackie was blessed with 5 children, Anthony White-Giordano, Nicholas White-Collins, Christian White-Collins, Cameron Trejo, and Marilyn Trejo. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, her aunt Melody Gouge, and niece Lily Maynard. She is survived by her partner and loving caregiver Cynthia Buehler of Chino Valley; father Chuck (and Jeanne) of Dallas, Texas; sister Andrea Grabau (and Brian) of New Prague, Minnesota; brother Jim Maynard (and Nikki) of Tucson; brother Bryan White (and Jennifer) of Austin, Texas; sister Stephanie White of Hartselle, Alabama; sons Anthony (and Amber), Nick, Christian, and Cameron, and daughter Mari, all of Tucson; 3 grandchildren, 4 nephews, 4 nieces; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many beloved friends.

Jackie will be remembered for her fun-loving but caring nature, her sense of humor, and her love of family and friends. She was a wonderful storyteller and would easily captivate her audience. One such time, she was talking to a large group of women, and as a result about one hundred of them started attending church with her. Her love, humor, and story telling along with her charm and beautiful smile contributed to her ability to gather people together. Additionally, she knew how to motivate, organize, and direct them toward a common goal. She frequently did this to garner support and encouragement for a friend in need. She also put these gifts to use when she organized a cancer walk fundraiser. Jackie also loved music and dance. She was a talented clarinet player in middle school and high school, and was in the marching band and performed at pep rallies, where she definitely inspired spirit and pep. Her smile and style would brighten your day!

A memorial service in celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, 85257, Rev. Jon Bjorgaard officiating; luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Jackie’s name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
