

Jimmy Allen Robenalt passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 90. Jim was born on August 28,1934, in Lima, Ohio to Marion and Irene Robenalt. Jim was the third eldest of four children in his family.
Jim graduated from Lima South High School in 1952. While attending Ohio State University in 1953, he was drafted into the Army and served in Korea until 1957. Following his military service, Jim pursued a career in auto sales with Volkswagen until 1969 and later as an insurance agent with Allstate until he retired in 1994.
On December 13, 1958, Jim married Deanna Ullmark in the Methodist church, on the campus of Ohio State University, where Deanna was employed at the time. Together they built a loving family while raising their three children (Chris, Steve and Lisa). Jim leaves behind his beloved wife Deanna of 66 years, his daughter and two sons, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marlene.
A man of many interests, Jim enjoyed puzzles, fishing, and hunting, but his greatest interest and gift was music as trombonist and vocalist. Jim enjoyed performing with the Swing Memories Band on the trombone and sharing his love of music with his church choir and orchestra at First Baptist Church of Tempe where he attended with his family since 1964 until he went home to be with the Lord.
Jim’s legacy of faith, generosity and humorous spirit will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held for Jim, October 11, 2025, 10:30 am at First Baptist Church of Tempe, 4525 S. McClintock Dr, Tempe, AZ. 85282
