Laurie Ann Doretti

Laurie was born October 9, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the second child of Russ & Judy Leidigh. Laurie was active in sports growing up including baseball, softball, volleyball, swimming and basketball. Laurie excelled in basketball and softball and played on the Kirkwood Eagles College teams. From there, Laurie move to the Phoenix area, primarily resided in Scottsdale.

Laurie was know for her hard work in several different work roles including waitress, bartender, banker and other sales roles. Laurie was awarded several national honors for her work at Wells Fargo Bank. Laurie was invited to Hawaii for a photoshoot to be on the inside cover of Wells Fargo Annual Report.

Survivors include her children Janessa and Jake Doretti, her Dad and Mom, Russ and Judy Leidigh, her brothers Tim, Tom and John, many cousins, nieces and nephews and loving friends from all aspects of her life.

Laurie was a loving mother to her two children and was always there for her family. Laurie truly cared about people and was always willing to help those who needed it. Laurie was a frequent visitor to her church in Goodyear, AZ . She spent her last couple years caring for her parents during the pandemic. She cooked, cleaned and was a remarkable caregiver during this time. We will miss her beyond words.
