Dr. Lyle Robert Bailey died peacefully on July 27th, in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 87. Lyle is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Merle (Mickey), children: James, Jennifer, Charles,(Melanie), Randy, (Kathy), Cynthia, (Aaron) and step-children, Melanie, (Charles), Marc, Kim, (Bryan) and Eric. Lyle is also survived by grandchildren: Robert, Bonnie, Jesse, Alex, Jonathan, Amanda, Tiffany, Tessa, Brianna, Jarrod and great grandson, Lucious. Lyle is preceded in death by his son, Mark.
Lyle was born on June 11, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa, to Eli and Blanche Bailey. He graduated from medical school in 1955 with a degree in Osteopathy and Surgery from Des Moines Still College. Lyle specialized in family practice and retired over 20 years ago.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:00am, Monday, July 31st, 2017 at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lyle's life. He will be sorely missed, but always remembered fondly.
