Marty is my friend and my cousin. From the time he was born, I can't remember Marti not making me laugh. He was a pure joy to be with. His business acumen & salesmanship abilities were superior in his field. We enjoyed discussing his career and his goals over the years. I will miss our conversations.
The last time I got to hang with my little cousin, we were visiting family in Florida. We laughed, we partied, we enjoyed the delicacy of being with a treasured family member & friend.

We have so many wonderful memories of Marty. All their visits to celebrate the holidays with us in SantaFe were so much fun. Walt and I stood up for them at their wedding in SantaFe.  Walt gave her away. It was a beautiful wedding . It was Spring and the tress were just beginning to show their leaves.  We welcomed our new son in law with open arms .  He took good care of my daughter for over 20 years.  We miss him. We will always miss him. Love from Marsha and Walt

I last saw Marty around 1990. His sweet Mom, Lee, was my very best friend. We were in business together and saw each other on a daily basis. I spent a lot of time around Marty. He was a hilarious, clever, goofy, kind, caring, compassionate, tolerant, and smart young man. 
Two special memories:
Years ago, Marty’s parents, Chuck and Lee, hosted a lovely holiday party. The house was decorated beautifully which Marty took credit for. He was kidding of course. The food was sensational which Marty dug into before guests arrived driving his Mom crazy. But the entertainment was the best ever. Marty decided that he would dress up with a cool jacket and sunglasses (resembling a Blues Brother), grabbed a microphone, and started singing, “I Love Rock n’ Roll”! His moves and voice were both memorable and hilarious! Everyone burst into laughter!
Another time, Lee asked me to help Marty with his algebra homework. Chuck was busy doing an eye exam on a patient. Math was never my strong suit, and algebra was my worst. I could never connect algebra to my everyday life, but I decided to give it a go. 
Marty and I struggled through trying to wrestle with variables, abstract concepts, and creative problem-solving. After about an hour with me, Marty was ready to pull his hair out. Chuck finished with his patient and walked over to the table where we had been working. He said, “What is all this mess?” Marty said, “That is Cathie’s stuff!” I said, “Hey Marty, come on, show some respect for our hard work!” When Chuck reviewed our answers, they were all correct. However, he said, “Don’t ever ask Cathie to help you again. I cannot figure out how she arrived at these answers.” Funny, I couldn’t either! Marty graciously thanked me and I never helped him with homework again!
I am praying for comfort and strength for all of Marty’s family and friends.  This journey is so difficult. Hold on to all of your loving memories.

Party Marty as he was known as. Met him at SanTravesia and became more than his driver. He was co-pilot and dj on all trips. Dj blast was level 12.Keep singing and always  rock on.

Marty and I tagged along with Carmen & Lisa on their "Sisters Tour" to NYC in November 2021. Here's Marty and the damn selfie stick! He wielded that thing like a pro. I'm not sure he thought too much of the Tenement Museum tour but he went along like a champ! We walked a lot, laughed a lot, ate a lot, and made a ton of memories.



We went on a "Food Tasting Tour" in Little Italy/Chinatown while in NYC.  This place served some kind of eggplant lasagna.  Marty and I (being from small towns in OH) were skeptical to say the least and almost opted out. I'll be damned if he didn't say it was the favorite part of the tour!  

At Christmas, Marty and me would share our love of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and buy fan stuff or recently Boston Scally caps for each other.  When we got the crushing news about his cancer, I wanted to find something  to send to him.  I wasn't sure how he'd feel about it but when I got this picture it made it okay.

Marty was always smiling. He may be gone from this earth but will be remembered through all our memories. Hugs and prayers.
