Mary Elisa Preston of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on Sunday September 22, 2019 at the age of 99. Mary was born January 5, 1920 and is survived by her daughter Judy, four Grandchildren: Tamie & her husband Nick, Elisa & her husband Kurt, Scott & his wife Brenda, Jamie & his wife Elizabeth, eight Great-grandchildren: Nicole & her husband John, Matthew, Dillon, Baillie, Casey, Jessica, DJ & Alessandra, five Great-Great grandchildren: Emily, Kaily, Preston, Gabrielle & Christopher.
Mary was born January 5, 1920 in Antwerp Belgium to Henri and Alice (Baert) Stynen. She immigrated to the US in April of 1930 and grew up in Chicago, IL. She started her career at Montgomery Wards and transferred to Phoenix in 1950 and has resided here ever since. Later she worked for the Phoenix Credit Bureau and finally for the Law Offices of Snell & Wilmer until her retirement in 1982.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday October 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Beatitudes Life Center, 1610 W Glendale Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85021.
